A little help of...Alexander

Mopping, mopping, mopping, whenever he gets the chance Alexander picks mama's mopper and mops, even tables get a 'mop'. He also knows how to deal with the vacuum cleaner. Was he first very scared of it.. (he still is a little, but especially for the part with the wheels that makes a lot of noice), now he follows me everywhere when I'm vacuum cleaning. Actually he doesn't allow me to clean, because HE wants to do it. So most of the times I give him half of the vacuum cleaner (the part that doesn't make noice) and he goes through our whole appartment with it.

Lucas, Dianne and Emilie were in Paris!

The 1st of November, papa, mama, aunt Emilie and Alexander went out for lunch.
Alexander is getting changed in the car:

The weather is still nice in October..
Aunt Emilie learns how to ride a rocking horse..

Playing with uncle Lucas

Alexander is even more in love with Dianne than Lucas... (and vice versa!).

September 30, 2006 - Alexander's 1st Wedding

Saturday the 30th of September 2006, Alexander's parents Patrick and Charlotte got married in Laren, The Netherlands.

After the town hall ceremony, Alexander walked to his parents with a tiny little bouquet of flowers, exactly the same as his mother's, to congratulate them.

Opa and Oma Konijn took care of Alexander during this very special and beautiful day.

September, Summer again!

After the disappointing month of August, we had summer again in September. Alexander had breakfast on the balcony every morning and he played a lot outside.
The red wooden car I bought for Alexander when he was only about two weeks old in a nice shop on the Utrechtsestraat in Amsterdam. His grandmother Louise and I went a walking with him for the first time after his birth.

Alexander and Papa

The evening before Papa left us alone for a week (he had to go to Miami for work). Alexander and Mama went again to The Netherlands (still a lot had to be organised for Papa and Mama's wedding).

Alexander and Liv

When we spent two weeks of the August break (in France it is deserted in August, really everything is closed and everyone is on holiday, so were we) in The Netherlands, we visited (and had dinner) our friends Phillip, Sandra and Liv in their new home in Bussum. We went by foot as we stayed in aunt Emilie's appartment (also in Bussum) while she spent her holidays with some friends in Greece.

Playing and... walking!

Actually, already the 14th of July Alexander did his first 12 steps on his own! But the weeks after he didn't walk that much. Only in the beginning of August when we spent some afternoons in the 'garden' of our residence he did it again. When he was 13 months old we could finally say that he can walk!!!
